Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026
This is a plain-English starting draft, not a substitute for a solicitor's review. Anything marked like this needs a real value filled in before this page goes live, and it's worth having a solicitor check the whole document — particularly the liability and refund sections — before launch.

1. Who we are

PassLevel5 is operated by Tim Young, trading as Young Procurement ("we", "us", "our"). PassLevel5 is a study platform providing content aligned to the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply. We are independently produced and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

2. What you're buying

Your one-time payment gives you lifetime access to the PassLevel5 online study platform for the modules covered at the time of purchase: study notes, practice questions, glossaries, and exam-preparation material. It does not include CIPS membership, exam entry, exam fees, or any official CIPS qualification — those are arranged separately and directly with CIPS.

We aim to keep content accurate and up to date, but PassLevel5 is a study aid, not a guarantee of exam success, and we cannot promise the platform will remain available indefinitely, though we intend it to.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account. One account is for your own personal study use — please don't share your login or the content with anyone who hasn't purchased access.

4. Acceptable use

The content on PassLevel5 is provided for your personal study only. You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, without refund, for a breach of these terms.

5. Payment and refunds

Payment is processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves. Because this is instantly-accessible digital content, our refund policy — including how the 14-day cancellation right applies — is set out separately in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on PassLevel5 — including text, structure, questions, and design — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use it for your own study; it does not transfer any ownership or rights to reproduce or redistribute it.

7. No guarantee of exam outcome

PassLevel5 is designed to support your CIPS Level 5 studies, but we cannot guarantee any particular exam result. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own study time, prior experience, and CIPS's own assessment and marking.

8. Limitation of liability

We provide PassLevel5 with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed exam sitting, lost earnings, or a failed exam attempt) arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in the platform itself. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. If we make a significant change, we'll aim to let existing customers know directly.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about your account or a payment, can be sent via youngprocurement.co.uk.
